What It Actually Costs to Build Your Product.
No generic price list: every quote is landed-cost, itemized against your exact product specifications. Below is the transparent commercial logic our engineering team uses: what drives unit economics, reference volume brackets, and milestone payment schedules.
The Open Book Cost Structure
We eliminate hidden markups through an itemized bill of materials (BOM): raw fabrics, internal virgin fiberfill, tooling and moulds, accredited laboratory safety tests, and container freight. You see exactly where every dollar goes before production begins.
Itemized BOM Transparency
Raw fabrics, virgin polyester fiberfill, embroidery thread count, and luxury hardware broken down by yardage and weight.
Zero Hidden Tooling Markup
Steel, electroformed copper, and aluminum injection molds billed at direct tooling cost with 100% client asset ownership.
Gate-Linked Milestone Terms
Commercial milestone payments tied directly to verified quality checkpoints: 30% sample deposit, 40% bulk WIP, 30% upon signed AQL 2.5 pass.

How pricing works
Every quote is landed-cost, not a price list.
Materials, tooling, and per-unit cost shift with order volume, finish, and whether a mold needs to be built from scratch. Send your spec sheet or reference sample and we'll come back with itemized FOBFree On Board: your unit price covers production, QC and packaging through the origin port. Freight, insurance and duties from there on are the buyer's arrangement. pricing, within 3 business days.
The final price depends on 4 factors, and we'll walk you through every line:
Material
Fabric grade, fill density, or resin type sets your base cost per unit.
Tooling
Molded items carry a one-time mold cost, amortized across your first production run.
Finish
UV printing, sublimation, hot stamping, or laser engraving each add labor and material.
Volume
Crossing into the next quantity tier spreads tooling and setup over more units.

Where the number comes from
How a quote actually comes together.
1. You send a spec
A spec sheet, 3D model, or reference sample: whatever you have. No minimum design fee to get started.
2. We price it against real factories
Your spec goes to the right partner factory in the network, not a generic rate card, for material, tooling, and labor costs.
3. Itemized FOB in 3 business days
Material, tooling, finish, and per-unit cost broken out line by line, not one bundled number.
4. 3 free sample rounds
Refine the physical sample before any deposit is due. A 4th round and beyond is $50 each.

Pricing FAQ
Questions we get before a deposit.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ depends on the product type and complexity. For plush toys and soft goods, MOQ starts at 500 units. For blindbox and other molded or plastic products, MOQ starts at 3,000 units, since a mold has to be built first. Contact us to discuss your specific project.
How does the quoting process work?
We need your spec sheet or reference sample. From there, we work with the right partner factory to prepare a detailed FOB quotation covering materials, manufacturing, finishing and packaging. The process typically takes 3 business days.
What are Takara's payment terms?
30% deposit at contract signing, 40% before shipment, and 30% within 7 days of delivery. Orders over $50,000 can be arranged on a flexible payment plan.
Are sample revisions included in the price?
Yes, 3 complimentary sample revision rounds are included in every quote. Additional rounds are $50 each.
Is Takara a factory?
No, we don't own factories. We are a creative-manufacturing partner working through a vetted network of partner factories across Vietnam. That's exactly why pricing is landed-cost per spec rather than a fixed catalog: it reflects the real quote from the factory actually building your product.
